Why Louise

Every workplace is different.

Which is why every workshop is designed around the needs of the organisation and its people.

Louise delivers practical, interactive workshops that combine lived trade experience with coaching, education and real-world strategies. Rather than simply delivering information, each workshop encourages discussion, reflection and practical application, creating an environment where participants feel comfortable sharing experiences, asking questions and learning from one another.

Workshops can be delivered as standalone sessions, or built into larger conferences, leadership programs and professional development initiatives.

Apprentices, qualified tradeswomen, supervisors, leadership teams. Whoever is in the room, the workshops are designed to create practical outcomes that continue long after the session has finished.

What People Take Away

power and water corporation

Two audiences, one professional development day

Power and Water Corporation wanted a development day that genuinely supported the women across their organisation. It covered two very different rooms: an apprentice session for electricians and plumbers, then a session open to tradeswomen from across the business.

Rather than delivering the same content twice, Louise built two tailored 90 minute sessions around nine practical confidence and career development strategies, each one grounded in real workplace stories.

Participants left with tools they could use immediately, and with something harder to measure but just as useful: the understanding that the challenges they’d been carrying on their own are both common and manageable.

FAQs

Can workshops be customised?
Absolutely. Every workshop is tailored to the organisation, the audience and the outcomes you want.
Most diversity and inclusion training is built by people who have never worked in a trade. Louise spent seven years as a heavy vehicle mechanic, so the content is grounded in what actually happens on site. It’s practical rather than compliance-led, and it’s designed to change behaviour rather than simply meet an obligation.
Anywhere from a one hour session through to half day and full day programs. Multi-session programs delivered over several months are also available.
Yes. People learn best when they’re involved, so participants are encouraged to reflect, discuss and apply what they’re working on throughout the session.
Yes. Workshops run in person and online, which works well for organisations with teams spread across multiple sites.
Yes. The content is built around communication, confidence and culture skills that benefit everyone in the room. Some of the strongest feedback comes from supervisors and leaders who leave with a clearer idea of how to support their teams.

Yes, and many organisations do exactly that. A keynote opens the conversation across a bigger group, then workshops go deeper with the people who need it most. Learn more about keynote speaking here.
