One on one coaching for tradeswomen

Practical coaching for the real situations nobody prepares you for, from someone who's been in your shoes.

Does Any of This Sound Familiar?

Every tradeswoman’s journey is different. Some women come to coaching knowing exactly what they want to work on. Others just know that something isn’t working. Both are completely valid places to start.

Why Louise

There’s plenty of confidence advice out there. Not much of it comes from someone who has been the only woman in the workshop.

Whether you’re just starting your apprenticeship, navigating workplace challenges, stepping into leadership, or wondering what comes next in your career, one-on-one coaching provides a confidential space to work through the challenges you’re facing with someone who genuinely understands the industry.

As a qualified heavy vehicle mechanic, Louise has experienced many of the same challenges her clients face. She combines that lived experience with professional coaching to help tradeswomen develop practical strategies, build confidence and make decisions that align with their goals and values.

Rather than telling you what to do, Louise works alongside you to help you gain clarity, strengthen your confidence and move forward with practical tools that you can continue using long after your coaching journey has ended.

What We Work on

Coaching is tailored to you rather than delivered as a fixed program. Most of it sits within these areas.

  • Confidence Development

Building genuine confidence from within rather than relying on external validation.

  • Career Development

Exploring career opportunities, leadership pathways and long-term goals.

  • Workplace Challenges

Working through difficult situations with practical strategies and objective support.

  • Leadership Development

Supporting qualified tradeswomen stepping into leadership or supervisory roles.

  • Communication

Building confidence to have difficult conversations, ask for opportunities and establish healthy boundaries.

  • Personal Growth

Developing the mindset, habits and resilience needed for long-term success.

How Coaching Works

01

It's private.

What you talk about stays between you and Louise. Your employer isn’t involved and doesn’t need to be.

02

It's online, anywhere around the world.

Sessions are booked around shift work, not the other way around. Face to face may be possible by arrangement.
03

It's built around you.

No two coaching programs look the same, because no two careers do.

04

It starts with a call.

A conversation first, so you can work out whether it’s right for you before you commit to anything.

What Can Change

Sometimes the biggest changes show up in ordinary moments

Speaking up in a toolbox talk.
Asking for the opportunity you have been avoiding.
Going into a difficult conversation without rehearsing it for three days.
Saying no without feeling guilty.
Backing your own judgement.

Over time, coaching can help you build:

Most importantly, you leave with tools you keep using for the rest of your career.

What Tradeswomen Say

Where Coaching Can Lead You

01

Finding purpose beyond burnout

A tradeswoman under significant workplace pressure came to coaching close to burn out. She used the time to get her perspective back and reconnect with what she was good at, and has since moved into an apprentice mentoring role supporting the next generation of tradeswomen.
02

From self-doubt to industry recognition

A scholarship recipient came to coaching after ongoing bullying had left her believing she constantly had to prove herself. She rebuilt her confidence, challenged what she’d come to believe about herself, and went on to be recognised at the NSW Training Awards for both her technical ability and her personal growth.

Scholarship Opportunity

Coaching should not be out of reach because of cost

The Tradeswomen Owning Their Power Scholarship gives tradeswomen access to coaching when paying for it themselves is not possible.

The program is funded by industry sponsors who want to support women to stay, grow and succeed in the trades.

Meet Louise

She knows the industry from the inside.

She holds a Diploma of Life Coaching, is a Master Practitioner of Life Coaching, and holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment alongside her trade qualifications.
